The moisture- and rot-resistant substructure elements from Frinorm are suitable for windows, house and balcony doors made of wood, wood-metal, and plastic and aluminium profile systems. The IHP10, PHP12 and PH16 models are particularly suitable for the floor area and demanding applications. The substructure elements comply with the Swiss standard SIA 271 “Waterproofing for buildings” and provide both good thermal insulation and high load-bearing capacity. The elements consist of: Integral foam board made of rigid PVC, 10 mm, or polyurethane recycled board, 12 mm, covered with a white rigid PVC board, 1 mm, or untreated polyurethane recycled board, 16 mm. Intensely expanded polystyrene rigid foam (EPS perimeter) with 30 kg/m³ is used as thermal insulation. For fastening, the substructure elements are equipped with two edge bands to ensure maximum flexibility and stability.
