The Frinorm moisture-resistant and sound-insulated frame extension elements for wooden and wood-metal windows are especially suitable for meeting high moisture resistance, sound insulation and thermal insulation requirements. They are available with either a birch plywood panel (class 3, E1) or an okoumé plywood panel (class 3, E1) - in a raw finish, with priming foil, or with real wood veneer in any wood type. Depending on the sound insulation requirements, the frame extension elements are fabricated with one or two heavy bitumen foils. Glass wool, 20 kg/m³, is used for thermal insulation. The frame extension elements are fabricated with a circumferential spruce pine edge band. Special edge bands can be inset according to your requirements.
