The Frinorm standard frame extension elements for wooden and wood-metal windows are especially suitable for meeting high thermal insulation requirements. They are available with chipboard P5, E1, either untreated, covered with primer foil or with a real wood veneer in all types of wood, biofibre hardboard, HB.H either untreated or with a real wood veneer, or medium-density fibreboard (MDF), P213, E1, with primer foil. PUR rigid foam, 32 kg/m³, is used as standard for thermal insulation. Other types of thermal insulation, such as expanded rigid polystyrene foam with graphite additive (EPS lambda), glass wool or cork, are also available. The frame extension elements are fabricated with a circumferential spruce edge band, or an edge band only on the long sides. Special edge bands are inset according to your requirements.
